Educare Centre - Preschool in Cape Town

Educare Preschool

At Kay-Dee Educare Centre, our first priority is ensuring your little one feels safe, secure, and happy in their preschool environment. Parents looking for preschools in Cape Town want more than just childcare — they want a place where their child can learn, grow, and be cared for as an individual.

We believe early childhood education plays a vital role in building confidence and curiosity.

Our daily, theme-based programme blends play and learning to support the whole child. We focus on social–emotional growth alongside core skills so children feel known, included, and excited to learn.

  • Social & Emotional: belonging, kindness, resilience, respect.
  • Communication & Thinking: listening, language, early reasoning, problem-solving.
  • Creative & Perceptual: art, music, stories, sensory exploration.
  • Gross & Fine Motor: movement, balance, pencil grip, coordination.
  • Life Skills & Values: independence, responsibility, gratitude, helpfulness, love, loyalty, sharing.

Extramural Activities (from age 3)

Additionally, we blend learning with diverse, age-appropriate activities designed to support development in a fun and engaging way.

From the age of three, children can take part in a variety of extramural activities such as:

  • Baking
  • Computer lessons
  • Gymnastics
  • Karate (included in fees)
  • Swimming lessons

**Other activities may be added if there’s enough interest from parents — we love growing with our families.

Please note extramural activities are not included in our fee structure unless stated otherwise.
