Karate Classes for Kids | Extra Mural Activities

Karate Classes

Our Little Dragon karate classes take place on Mondays at the Kay-Dee Educare premises as part of our extra mural activities. These sessions introduce karate classes for kids in a calm, structured, and age-appropriate way, starting from 3 years old. Both girls and boys are welcome.

Each class is designed to help young children build confidence, coordination, balance, focus, and both fine and gross motor skills. Lessons are active and engaging, giving children a constructive outlet for their energy while developing physical and mental discipline.

The karate classes are guided by the five maxims of karate:

  • Character
  • Etiquette
  • Effort
  • Sincerity
  • Self-control

Our karate classes are taught by Sensei Marguerite Esterhuizen (4th Dan), who brings 22 years of dedicated teaching experience to every session, ensuring children learn safely and consistently.
